Triple Whammy :)

This card is for Copic Colour Challenge (Used one of the colours RV02) plus Stampin for the weekend (Create a card with a pocket or tag, it has both!) plus its also for a Buttons and Bows swap on Crafty Cardmaking (digital version) so got a 3 in one!

I've coloured the gorjuss girl in with copics using a blend of RV06, RV02 and RV21 for the dress and the tag is made with starburst stains in pinks and lilac and cuttlebug embossed.

Truly Scrumptious Challenge 10

This one is for the Truly Scrumptious challenge #10

The background paper is DCWV pocket full of posies and the blue is starburst stains and cuttlebug embossed. The blue on the dress I did as a varigated light to dark blue by going over a few times and the orange is a yellow copic then I picked up some red on the tip of the yellow and blended it in so it looks like fire :) I thought the choice of colours suited an afro carribean feel so I did the gorjuss girl to match.

The flower also started as white but its coloured with copics using the same technique I used for the top of the dress and I coloured the blue flower with copics also to match.

Just Magnolia challenge 11

This one is for this weeks Just Magnolia challenge which is a sketch by Bev.

The background is made with H2O's then I sketched over them (looks kinda familiar lol!) Tilda is coloured with copics and I added green bows as leaves with the flowers.

Just Magnolia challenge 10 - Summer

This one is for the Just Magnolia challenge - Summer. Really fond of this Tilda as she's really versatile. She's coloured with copics and I used the blender pen to get more shades :)

Stampin' for the weekend challenge 3

This weeks challenge is Rock n roll 60's with a choice of 3 song titles and your own creative interpretation. I've gone for the Time of the Season (Summer). I also made it for a buttons n Bows swap on crafty cardmaking so 2 birds with one stone :)

Background is again a colour wash of H2O's mixed with solar gold radiant rain then added doodles. The flowers are buttons (obviously!) and the leaves are ribbons. The gorjuss girl is coloured with copics :)

Happy Birthday Miss Molly Moonbeams

She's 1 today! Hasn't that gone quick! She got a Mr Potato head which she liked playing with the other week so now has her own, a Cinderella Aqua draw as she loves scribbling and also a cinderella magic markers. These are fantastic! They're coloured pens but only colour on that paper so she can scribble on the floor and and herself without making any mess and when she scribbles in her book it magically colours in. Both the kids are having a ball with them at the moment!

Her cbeebies card wasn't on :( Never mind, I made her this one instead!

The background of this I did as a colour wash, its very subtle and sparkly! Its H2O's in green, blue and lilac mixed with radiant rain (Which Freyja taught me!) I added some doodles and the stamp is by stamposaurus and is coloured with copics and silver stickles for the wings.

It was inspired by an article in craft stamper last year by Sharon Armstrong :)

Anyway happy happy birthday to Miss Molly :)

Creative kids

Thought I'd show these of the kids having a messy play session. Dont get much opportunity to do painting because of the sheer mess and remembering to run a bath FIRST to throw them straight in lol! Cant wait till they're a bit older and can have an easel and do it indoors! This was also Molly's first time ever painting and I think she liked it!

Miss Moonbeams' first introduction to paint and a brush!

Eefie is a dab hand at it now. He goes through a ton of paint though!

Didn't take her long to get the hang of it!

Eefie being a clean freak and washing himself off in a bucket!

And she started out so well....

Eefie still washing....
Still she did manage to get SOME on the paper!

Truly Scrumptious challenge 9

This one is for the truly scrumptious challenge 9 sketch.

The image is a stamp of hydrangeas which has been stamped on alcohol ink, the leaves were stamped again on green and decoupaged. The flowerpot is moonshadow ink so is brown and purple depending on the light. The background circle is starburst stains in a peachy and purple and I used the birthday cuttlebug embossing folder. Stamped the greeting using various stamps and the birthday tag is one of the woodware staples (which I save for best!)

I didn't put a separate flower as per the sketch as I thought the flowery panel with the 2 white flowers at top would suffice and any more on the card would overload it :)

Papers are DCWV and I believe do crafts/papermania.
