Wowzers how about that!  For this challenge I have used a gorgeous stamp that was demoed at Port Sunny by The Stampman and is Stampendous butterfly postcard.  I coloured the butterfly with promarkers twice and 3d mounted it and have used pink and grey flexmarkers to colour the postcard flicking in from the edge.  Papers are tatty teddy spring stack, sentiment is magnolia.

Inspiration photo at Passion for Promarkers

Evening all!  Had a great time again at Port Sunny.  This time I was working on the shop side as Jill was demoing Fran-tage - What's that I hear you say.....weeeeeelllll........

Its kinda adding various bits to an image for some super shimmer results, Jill from The Stampman managed to do us a quick video at the end of the day so if you bought some stuff and have now forgot how to use it (as we all do!) then here ya go - Jill does Fran-tage

Also been doing lots of reading and revision, Ive already done it all but I'm going back over it again to make sure I do understand the finer points of the mental capacity act and DOLS.  I'm a visual learner rather than a textbook one, I learn very quickly by DOING something and retain it than simply reading about it so I think tommorrows reading will be on safeguarding, rock n roll me you know!

Anyway I'm late again as usual!  I just dont seem to get the time on the PC until late on by which time I've either passed out or cant see the screen so reasonably early for me tonight!  This weeks challenge at PASSION FOR PROMARKERS  is a gorgeous inpiration photo of lengths of ribbons and fibres, there is a lot of scope there to combine colours or use the fibres etc.  I went with the dominant pink in the centre as my theme which is a Tilda catching stars, I think she is one of the prettiest Tildas ever and might even get a nod from the most enthusiastic disliker ha!

There is a prize of 3 digis by Crafts & Me up for grabs and as you know there is tons of gorgeous ones to choose from!

Is anyone else having problems when uploading pics that it turns them sideways?  It is driving me insane now and I'm getting so frustrated with the new blogger, I hate it aaaaargh!!!!

Tee Hee mini rant!  Anyway yes my card, I've coloured with promarkers of course and used a Go Kreate die for the shaped card, the princess die cut is from ebay so if anyone knows the brand I'd love to know too!  I added some pink to it and glamour dust sparkles and the flowers are hobbycraft and my LCS Strikes, papers I think are papermania.

Off to Port Sunny

Evening all!!  Its that time of year again woo hoo!  Port Sunny in the morning :D  You'll find me on The Stampman stall with Ian and Jill who will be demonstrating the Fran-Tage technique, if you've not seen it as I havent either then pop along and come see!  Look forward to seeing all the familiar faces there again :)

Got a couple to share with you tonight.  First up is the gorgeous Lady Liberty from Crafts & Me coloured with promarkers.  She turned out lovely so I wanted to make the image the focus and keep the embellishment minumum.  I coloured her one evening a couple of weeks ago and popped her in my to do box, I usually have a few in there as I like to just colour in the evenings.  Thats now been made a whole lot easier as I just bought this fantastic tray which has a beanbag bottom and a light built in so I can pop it on my knee whilst drooling over the mentalist and continue my promarker addiction :D

I've also started adding ebay links to cards I sell as generally I wouldnt on here but have realised that 95% of my customers are actually crafters, some like to buy as example pieces as even I've done that before.  Our Molly colours me things in and says I can sell them for our holiday haha bless her!
So if you're interested the link below whats available will take you there :)

Next up is a lovely little stamp by Tiddlyinks which got a few ooohs and ahhhs at the vicky stampers workshop I did last week as I took a few sample pieces along.  She was lovely to colour in too and I used all the cool greys and a teensy bit of black with a fine nib on for the hair.
I've used coredinations black magic and papers from my scrummy new stack by first edition called dreamcatcher.  I did the ribbon and flowers a bit crumply to fit in with the feel of the card  :)

Anyway toodle pip, going to colour in bed whilst learing at the mentalist haha! x

Playing with Pan Pastels

Back again lol!  Thought I'd show you this one I made today for Crafty Boots challenge.  I was lucky enough to win a voucher for there a couple of weeks back so decided to have a whirl with some Pan Pastels as I wanted to do clouds :D  I can do them with promarkers but they do take some time and a lot of blending so I used pan pastels in ultramarine blue and ultramarine blue tint to create the background on this (In all of 2 minutes!)  You can find them here at Crafty Boots.

I used a cloud mask or two and added a smidgen of the darker blue around the mask then used the tint to gently push the harsh lines out to give a lovely soft effect.

The image is by Sara Burrier called Hope from Crafts & Me and I've altered it a bit by taking out the word on the balloon to make it more any occasion kinda thing.  I've coloured in what I call buttery yellows (Buttercup/daffodil/Pastel yellow/Mustard) and a touch of pinks.  Papers are Taddy Teddy spring collection and flowers are Hobbycraft & Strikes again.
Cute little sentiment is from Stamping all Day.

Special Birthdays at Passion for Promarkers

Evening all!  Phew been a busy week!  Have been doing a workshop over at Vicky Stampers, felt like I was surrounded by paparazzi haha!  I shall do a tutorial to go with the techniques I showed as soon as I can ladies!

Other news is that I'm going to be doing a promarker demo day over at Strikes in Knutsford aka High Legh Garden Centre which is on Saturday 9th June from 10-4 so pop along and ask about techniques etc and keep me company :)

Been over to Gullivers World again and we've gone for season tickets so will be visiting lots with the kids, I'm such a big kid too and also love it (shhhhhh!)  Its just fantastic for little kids and we still havent tried everything!  Its also nice that they're happy enough on the play areas there and the queues are non exisitent or very small so they dont get ratty waiting and I can RELAX.  I get a bit stressed out in play areas with the noise and amount of people in there so have found a perfect place for us all :)

Anyways I've got one to share with you today and that is for Passion for Promarkers (I WILL post on time one of these days, I think Den would die of shock!)  The winner will receive a £10 voucher for Crafty Emma's store to spend!

For this I used Dancing Willow by Whiff of Joy coloured with promarkers and I added faux stitching and dotted around the edge which is a technique I love for party type cards like this one.  I added some iddy biddy gold beads on her necklace and for the number 18, papers are from my new stroky stack, First Edition Dreamcatcher and flowers are from hobbycraft and Strikes.

So come on and get those promarkers/Flex/Tria/Aqua markers out and come join in!

Brights & Lights at Passion for Promarkers

Evening all!  My turn to choose the theme this week at Passion for Promarkers and I've asked for Brights and lights - I'd like to see a bright image with light papers or a light image with bright papers :)

We're sponsored by Saturated Canary with a prize of 2 digis this week, she also gave some of the team an image to play with and I chose Violet

I've coloured with promarkers (of course!) and added glamour dust to the puffy bit on her dress.  The hair combo was pastel yellow, spice, chestnut and umber :)
