Feeling hot hot hot!

What a glorious weekend it has been, a lovely 24 degrees with a slight breeze, absolutely perfect weather for me!

Been taking the kids out as much as to take advantage of the good weather. Last week we went to Gullivers World in Warrington. Last time I went was 6 years ago and to be honest I never rated the place, always a bit run down. Checked the website and saw a couple of new things so thought I'd give it another go and OMG its changed! Loads and loads of new rides and tons of play areas, ball pits, sit and rides so that there's things for the kids to climb on and not have to queue for everything.

Molly is now *nearly* walking! She can stand herself up for longer and longer and constantly tries it, wont be long now till she's off chasing her brother!

Truly Scrumptious challenge #7

This is my entry for the Truly Scrumptious challenge "Going Dotty"
Its a giggling Tilda coloured with copic pens and highlighted with souffle pen in white. Papers are ummmm I have no idea, found them when I was rooting on Sunday night! The white panel is cuttlebug embossed with swiss dots, one of my favs and the flowers are from a woodware multi punch which is fabby!

Thanks for looking!

Copic colour challenge #13

Woo Hoo I can play coz I've got copics yay! OK I have the grand total of 13 *but* the challenge this week is to follow a sketch so I can play :D

So without further ado here's my entry for the copic challenge blog

The image is Annie as kindly sent to me by my wonderful thoughtful and lovely long time fwend Sheilakins. I coloured using copics, face I like to use e00 and e51 then add a shadow of e21 and finally e02 for the cheeks. Hair I used e51 as a base then e29. The dress is RV06, I was actually a bit disappointed when I got that home as I was looking for a mid pink and went on what I saw on the cap (didnt read what it was called) and its actually a bright magenta lol! I toned it down using a white souffle pen to add polka dots. The greens are YG03 and I shadowwed using G07.

I also coloured the gems in the flower centres with the pink copic. Papers are from god only knows who haha, QVC from a while back, didnt know I had them till I had a root the other day! Oh and the little birthday tag is one of these new woodware staples which I quite like but "save for best" smile :D

The flowers are from a new woodware punch which does 5 at a time and I'm getting rather fond of!

Thanks for lookin!
