Where did the time go??? I was sat waiting for the next round when Sheilakins told me she'd made hers, I've completely lost a week somewhere lol!

Inky Impressions DT call

Saw a DT call for Inky Impressions so here's my 2 entries. http://www.inkyimpressionschallenges.blogspot.com/

Thought I'd use a couple I made quite recently. First one is a sugar nellie coloured with distress ink and versamagic. I then edged the oval with a wet brush and ran broken china distress ink round it.

My 2nd entry is also a sugar nellie and it is coloured with distress inks (tattered rose, vintage photo, brushed corduroy and antique linen) Flowers are coloured with sakura stardust in pink. Daisy's top and patch are stamped on the same paper I mounted the image on and cut out and the buttons are clear and I have glued them to the stripy paper also used for layering which is again used on the chipboard tag top right. I added some brown and pink beads and a made with love charm.

And here is my entry, a card with a coloured stamped image :) It is a Sugar Nellie sweet art ebony, Pickin Apples and I went for the vintage look as the stamp really suits it. It is coloured with distress ink (vintage photo & brushed corduroy) and I wet all reound the image and let the browns bleed into it. Main image is coloured with distress ink, versa magic and a mix of them with some sakura stardust to highlight.

Its a sweet art ebony, sweet n sassy on Bo Bunny & Daisy D's papers watercoloured with distress inks. I like this sketch, really nice to work with :)

Truly Scrumptious challenge 2

I absolutely love the sketch this week with the squares and circle, its fab to work with!

I had a change with Daisy this time, she's painted with moonglow starburst stains, well the skin tone is still distress ink tattered rose but the rest is starburst stains. Paper is DCWV pocket full of posies, one of my fav stacks and I made the orange buttons with makins clay (as per challenge) They're kinda dayglow orange but never mind lol! The sentiment is actually on the charm at the bottom, it says made with love and is a silver flower charm and I added some silver bead on a stick thingies Ive had for donkeys years and "saved for best" lol!

Its a Whispers stamp, girl with kitty which was kindly given to me by my good friend Jack. Watercoloured with distress ink, background is also distress ink (orange) and bottom layer is black card sprayed with gold radiant rain.

Its Bronte the horse (Magnolia) coloured with distress inks, various papers and a chipboard flower with matching paper.
