Playing with Pan Pastels

Back again lol!  Thought I'd show you this one I made today for Crafty Boots challenge.  I was lucky enough to win a voucher for there a couple of weeks back so decided to have a whirl with some Pan Pastels as I wanted to do clouds :D  I can do them with promarkers but they do take some time and a lot of blending so I used pan pastels in ultramarine blue and ultramarine blue tint to create the background on this (In all of 2 minutes!)  You can find them here at Crafty Boots.

I used a cloud mask or two and added a smidgen of the darker blue around the mask then used the tint to gently push the harsh lines out to give a lovely soft effect.

The image is by Sara Burrier called Hope from Crafts & Me and I've altered it a bit by taking out the word on the balloon to make it more any occasion kinda thing.  I've coloured in what I call buttery yellows (Buttercup/daffodil/Pastel yellow/Mustard) and a touch of pinks.  Papers are Taddy Teddy spring collection and flowers are Hobbycraft & Strikes again.
Cute little sentiment is from Stamping all Day.
