Theres a new challenge over at
Bearly Mine starting today and thats Mothers Day. For this I challenged myself a little as I normally shy away from too florally papers, just not my bag but Donna has recently brought out this set called
Floral Fantasy so I printed a few out to have a look and decided to follow a sketch just to see how it looked and have to say I *REALLY* like these papers! I've surprised myself a bit as they're not my usual type but they've just worked together beautifully! I've paired them with my favourite
Simply Dots which balances it just right.
There are 3 prizes for this challenge - 5 digis from Whimsey Stamps, 2 sets of papers from Bearly Mine and a rubber stamp from Bildmalarna .
I've used a Magnolia stamp called Tilda with Lilac coloured with promarkers and a bit of coloursoft pencil and added some flowersoft (sweet pea) for dimension. Flowers have all been glittered with stickles and I've added pink and blue iridescent gems plus some clear iridescent on the butterflies (
